Evaluating Students on Probation and Determining Intervention Strategies: A Comparison of Probation and Good Standing Students.
Trombley, Cherine M.
Journal of College Student Retention, v2 n3 p239-51 2000-2001
Investigated differences between students on probation and students in good standing at one community college. Survey data indicated that more probation students worked, and worked full time, than nonprobation students. Students on probation tended to have lower high school grade point averages and to have children present in the household than did students in good standing. (SM)
