Does Diversity Make a Difference? A Research Report.

Summarizes the results of a research project on the impact of diversity in higher education. Data from faculty surveys and a case study of multiracial, multiethnic classrooms indicate that there are strong educational reasons for colleges to recruit diverse students. Faculty value diversity and use it to enhance learning, and multiracial, multiethnic classrooms enhance educational outcomes. (SM)
