Study assesses what children experience when they are sexually abused and determines if these experiences correlate with emotional distress and findings identified during medical examinations for sexual abuse. Results reveal that more frequent abuse, more perpetrators, physical injury, and more severs sexual acts were variables significantly correlated with increased emotional distress.
