Inclusion and Classroom Membership in Early Childhood.

A study examined classroom membership in an early childhood setting which included a 3-year-old boy with multiple disabilities. Interpersonal interactions with peers and practices that contributed to building community are discussed. Findings revealed that there were deliberate and ongoing efforts to create a strong sense of community within the classroom. (Contains references.) (Author/CR)
