The mature students' three R's framework was formulated from a study investigating mature students' experience of higher education: motivations, expectations, and outcomes. The study was based on new paradigm research methods. The three R's framework is of interest to, and useful for, advisers and counselors working with adults in the process of change, including those working outside educational settings. (Author)
