Comparing the Success of Students Enrolled in Distance Education Courses vs. Face-to-Face Classrooms.

Secondary students (n=623) enrolled in at least 1 distance education course (424 at remote sites) were studied. Distance education made no difference in grade point average (GPA); 12th graders at host sites had significantly lower GPA than those at remote sites; and student success was above average in distance education courses.
