Evaluations of instructors' teaching performance and attitude were completed by 1,504 students. Perceptions of attitude significantly affected performance ratings. Teachers are urged to demonstrate enthusiasm, motivate students, encourage discussion, be open to critique, help students beyond the classroom, treat students equally, and show respect. (SK)
