Student-Faculty Joint Authorship: Ethical and Legal Concerns.
Oddi, Lorys F.; Oddi, A. Samuel
Journal of Professional Nursing, v16 n4 p219-27 Jul-Aug 2000
When student-faculty joint authorship is influenced by institutional mandate, faculty mandate or suggestion, or student invitation, questions of authority, fidelity, veracity, and justice may arise. In addition to ethical concerns, unjustified authorship claims may damage teacher-student relationships and institutional credibility or lead to legal liability. (SK)
