Measurement Properties of the MacArthur Communicative Development Inventories at Ages One and Two Years.
Feldman, Heidi M.; Dollaghan, Christine A.; Campbell, Thomas F.; Kurs-Lasky, Marcia; Janosky, Janine E.; Paradise, Jack L.
Child Development, v71 n2 p310-22 Apr-May 2000
Psychometric properties of the MacArthur Communicative Development Inventory (CDI) were examined. Findings suggested that the CDI reflects the progress of language development within the age range 10 to 27 months. Findings support caution in using results to identify individuals at risk for language deficits, to compare groups with different sociodemographic profiles, or to evaluate intervention effects.
