Women's Studies Classes and Their Influence on Student Development.

Reviews literature on changes that occur in students after taking women's studies classes. Changes include self-expression, sense of commitment and responsibility, critical thinking, empowerment, and acknowledgement of diversity. Review determined that students become more liberal in their attitudes toward women, and experience an increase in their self-esteem, feminist identity, job motivation, and job certainty after taking the class.
