Examined high schools students' attitudes toward and perceptions of academic achievement and student behavior, and the relationship between the two, in relation to both gender and age. Student surveys focused on popularity, behavior, effort, mutual support, academic success, and discipline. Results highlighted differences in boys' and girls' attitudes and perceptions and noted changes in students' perceptions and attitudes with age. (SM)
