"Nothing Important To Communicate": Some Reflections on the Irrelevance of Information Technology.
Glover, James M.
Journal of Experiential Education, v22 n2 p71-73 Fall 1999
Our fascination with technology's ability to process information and the resulting glut of information gets in the way of attaining wisdom, the highest level of learning. Information technology may be useful in the administration of experiential education, but is irrelevant to the most important levels of learning. An informationless outdoor course would enable the mountains to speak for themselves. (TD)
