Describes the Native American Fish and Wildlife Society (NAFWS) and its activities and fund-raising efforts. NAFWS was formed in 1982 to help tribes protect and manage fish, wildlife, and environmental resources. Funded largely by federal grants, NAFWS provides culturally based training, education, and technical assistance to federally recognized tribes and sponsors hands-on youth training programs. (CDS)
