Lifelong Learning within Higher Education in South Africa: Emancipatory Potential?

Argues that in the post-Apartheid South Africa there is an opportunity to redress the inaccessibility of the majority to higher education, and to encourage lifelong learning, by greatly widening access and providing programs to develop broadly applicable abilities such as computer literacy.
