Outdoor educators should be doing more to help students get beyond the manufactured "wonderland" sham to experience the lifelong joys of wonder. This means that educators must develop their own vocabulary and that of their students around words that indicate values associated with experiences. Appropriate language is an important tool in the central experiential task of processing and reflection. (CDS)
