A Critique of the Flynn Effect: Massive IQ Gains, Methodological Artifacts, or Both?
Rodgers, Joseph L.
Intelligence, v26 n4 p337-56 1998
Reviews and evaluates the Flynn Effect (Flynn, 1984, 1987), the existence of massive IQ gains in the United States from 1932 to 1978. Although the acceptance of the Flynn Effect has been too quick, it appears that there is more than just methodological artifact to be explained. (SLD)
