Recorded Audio Prompts: A Strategy to Increase Independent Prevocational Task Completion in Individuals with Dual Diagnosis.
Steed, Stephanie E.; Lutzker, John R.
Behavior Modification, v23 n1 p152-68 Jan 1999
Research was conducted to teach two adults with schizophrenia and mental retardation to respond to recorded audio prompts when completing routine prevocational tasks. Subsequent improvements in the individuals' task completion performance suggest that audio prompts may serve as an efficient alternative to instructor assistance. (Author/GCP)
