Students' Subjective Appraisals of Driving Behavior.
Taris, Toon W.
Journal of Social Psychology, v138 n4 p505-513 Aug 1998
Investigates perceptions of self and others among young drivers. Conveys that the participants rated undesirable actions more probable under low verifiability and controllability and considered others more likely to engage in undesirable actions. Concludes that young drivers must be aware of their feelings of superiority in order to change their driving behaviors. (CMK)
