An Interview with Michael Meade: Kids, Gangs and Grandparents.
Journal of Family Life: A Quarterly for Empowering Families, v5 n2 p49-51 1999
Violence and anguish among youth stem from a lack of respect for minority children and a lack of meaning for suburban children. Large, impersonal schools do not value students. Elders are in the same condition but for different reasons. Society needs to create a meaningful place for youth and elders, because they have a lot to offer each other. (TD)
