Changing Trends in Program Assessment in Physical Therapy Education: Perceptions of Program Directors.

Responses from 74 of 148 directors of accredited physical-therapy-education programs indicated the following: (1) 76-100% of chairs and faculty and 20-57% of students, alumni, and staff participate in institutional assessment; and (2) 90% of directors believed the new accreditation criteria were important guides for program effectiveness.
