The Impact of the Location and Structure of an Ambulatory Rotation on Cognitive Knowledge and Performance.
Solomon, David J.; Rosebraugh, Curtis J.; Speer, Alice J.; Holden, Mark D.; Szauter, Karen M.
Evaluation and the Health Professions, v22 n2 p197-207 Jun 1999
Studied the effects of the location (community-based or hospital-based) and the structure of an ambulatory clerkship for medical students on cognitive knowledge and clinical performance. Results from 176 students suggest that something about the rotational structure of the multidisciplinary ambulatory clerkship does affect clinical ratings of students by instructors. (SLD)
