Values Held by Office-Based and Home-Based Therapists in Northern New England.
Day, H. D.; McCain, Victoria M.
Counseling and Values, v43 n2 p116-28 Jan 1999
In first study of values of rural mental-health professionals, the Survey of Personal Values and Survey of Interpersonal Values were completed by 51 office-based psychotherapists and 87 home-based therapists from rural areas in three northern New England states. That home-based therapists would more highly value independence and goal orientation than office-based therapists was not supported. In fact, therapists in both settings shared remarkably similar views. (Author/GCP)
