Assessing the Relationships between Vocational Identity, Academic Achievement, and Persistence in College.

Entering college students' vocational identity (VI) and index of academic achievement were assessed. Three years later VI scores had not predicted academic achievement. Persistence was found to be related to students' level of academic achievement. Discusses limitations of the study and implication for further research. (Author/MKA)
