Success in the Capstone Business Course--Assessing the Effectiveness of Distance Learning.

Of 85 students in a capstone business course, 65% had used distance methods to earn some credits, and distance participants performed better in the capstone class. In particular, those in learning-contract or college-level examination program classes did better than those in traditional or televised courses. (SK)
