Interviews with 10 nursing students with disabilities and 61 faculty, patients, and other students revealed that students with disabilities have varied means of support, encounter more attitudinal than physical barriers, fear the consequences of disclosure, and felt that their experiences of disability gave them great insight into the needs of patients.
