The Role of Relational Aggression in Identifying Aggressive Boys and Girls.

Peer and teacher ratings of relational and overt aggression and social competencies were obtained from second and third graders (N=904). Findings include: (1) boys scored higher on relational and overt aggression; (2) peer evaluations were similar for boys and girls; (3) gender differences were observed.
