Examined the attitudes of preservice teachers toward parent involvement in elementary schools, noting differences in attitudes between preservice teachers at the beginning and end of their student teaching. Surveys indicated that attitudes toward parent involvement were fairly positive, with student teachers feeling more positive about parent involvement and more prepared to implement parent involvement strategies than beginning students.
