Cherkes-Julkowski, Miriam
Journal of Learning Disabilities, v31 n3 p294-306 May-Jun 1998
A longitudinal study of 28 mildly preterm children and 20 full-term comparison children found 75% of preterm children had a learning disability, attention deficit disorder (ADD), language impairment, mild neurologic impairment, or general school problems by grade 5. Evidence of differences in attention deployment at ages 13 and 15 months for ADD children was also found. (DB)
