Pappas, James P.
Journal of Public Service & Outreach, v3 n1 p3-15 Spr 1998
Colleges and universities contribute to regional economic development through technology transfer, workforce development activities, creation of research parks and business incubators, conferences and networking, and development of new alliances. These institutions must understand and articulate the benefits they provide to their communities, develop new ways to facilitate collaboration, link with government and business networks, and develop supportive administrative structures.
