Seventy peer-reviewed reports on innovative approaches to medical education are presented. Four groups of reports are organized around criteria based on the Association of American Medical Schools' Medical School Objectives Project (MSOP), which defines four desirable physician attributes: that physicians must be altruistic, knowledgeable, skillful, dutiful. The final group focuses on faculty attributes and teaching strategies. (MSE)
