Defying rules or specifications, charter-school administrators might be traditional school principals, teachers, parents, community members, or organization leaders. Leaders receive assistance from various sources: advocacy groups, sponsoring agencies, regional representatives, universities, and "edventurists" (educator-venture capitalists).
