Hidden Perpetrators: Sexual Molestation in a Nonclinical Sample of College Women.
Fromuth, Mary Ellen; Conn, Victoria E.
Journal of Interpersonal Violence, v12 n3 p456-65 Jun 1997
Examines molestation committed by females (N=22) during childhood and adolescence. Results indicate that, of those describing an experience that met the criterion for sexually molesting a younger child, 86% did not view the action as child sexual abuse. Few differences were found between perpetrators and nonperpetrators on background variables and psychological adjustment. (RJM)
