Gaps between Advocated Practices and Teaching Realities in Environmental Education.

Reports on a qualitative study which shows that teachers' environmental beliefs, knowledge, skills, and environmental programs provide evidence of the way they view environmental education, including possible difficulties within their programs. Findings indicate that researchers need to consider more carefully the limits of the teaching practice when advocating how environmental education should be taught. (Author/AIM)
