Demystifying Constructivism: Spontaneous and Genuinely Constructivist Teaching in Disadvantageous Contexts.

Presents the findings of a qualitative study carried out in a poor and problematic area of Brazil to investigate whether constructivist teaching practices are evident in the daily lessons in state elementary schools.
