Knight, Carolyn
Journal of Child Sexual Abuse, v6 n2 p17-41 1997
A study of therapists' affective reactions to working with adult survivors of child sexual abuse found that the most common responses were feelings of being overwhelmed by the work, vulnerability in personal relationships, rage, sadness, and horror. Affective reactions varied by several characteristics associated with the survivors and their victimization. (RJM)
