Relationship between Collegians' Perceived Knowledge and Congeneric Tested Achievement in General Education.

Administered two congeneric assessment instruments to a national sample of collegians (N=1,744) so as to measure achievement in general education or liberal studies. Results indicate wide differences between achievements on the two test instruments, although the differences varied across content disciplines. Discusses implications for student development. (RJM)
