Rojewski, Jay W.; Yang, Baiyin
Journal of Vocational Behavior, v51 n3 p375-410 Dec 1997
National Education Longitudinal Study data from 18,311 subjects examined occupational aspiration at early, middle, and late adolescence. Aspirations were relatively stable throughout; early aspirations significantly predicated later ones. Socioeconomic status had a significant influence; academic achievement and self-evaluation had modest, decreasing effects over time. (SK)
