Child Sexual Revictimization by Multiple Perpetrators.
Kellogg, Nancy D.; Hoffman, Thomas J.
Child Abuse & Neglect: The International Journal, v21 n10 p953-64 Oct 1997
Adolescents (n=161) who had unwanted sexual experiences with a single perpetrator were compared with 97 adolescents who had unwanted sexual experiences with more than one perpetrator. Results suggest that sexual revictimization by multiple perpetrators is not uncommon and that these children and adolescents have more difficulties with psychological recovery due to increased shame and self-blame.
