The Biasing Effects of Bad Addresses on Information Gathered by Mailed Surveys.
Grosset, Jane
Journal of Applied Research in the Community College, v2 n2 p179-91 Spr 1995
Presents findings of a study comparing respondents, involuntary nonrespondents (due to inaccurate addresses) and voluntary nonrespondents to a mailed survey for former students of a large northeastern community college. Results suggest that respondents were more dissimilar to the nonrespondent groups than the two nonrespondent groups were to each other. Includes 3 data tables and 18 references. (JDI)
