The Attitudes of Female and Male Residential Care-Workers to the Perpetrators of Sexual and Physical Assault.
Harnett, Paul H.
Child Abuse & Neglect: The International Journal, v21 n9 p861-69 Sep 1997
Sixty child care workers in a British residential assessment program for male adolescents with possible behavior disorders rated vignettes describing either physical or sexual assault. Sexual assaults were perceived to be more serious than physical assaults and their perpetrators more dangerous. Female care workers perceived a greater difference between sexual and physical assaults than male care workers. (DB)
