Based on their expression with puppets, examined how Greek preschool children perceive their personal identity and self understanding, and if these features are physical, active, social, or psychological. Found concurrence with previous research indicating that children identify themselves in all the above ways, but that identification with physical characteristics precedes identification with social ones.
