Divergent Thinking in Arts and Science Students: "Contrary Imaginations" at Keele Revisited.
Hartlet, James; Greggs, Michael A.
Studies in Higher Education, v22 n1 p93-97 Mar 1997
A study replicated earlier research on divergent thinking and college major at Keele University (England), gaining weak support for the notion that arts students differ significantly from science students on measures of divergent thinking, with arts students scoring higher on this variable on each of four tests. Subjects were 40 seniors at two British universities. (MSE)
