Educational partnerships offer numerous benefits but can be problematic to implement and maintain. The most successful university-school partnerships have a well-defined administrative structure, mutual self-interest and common goals, participant commitment, mutual trust and respect, external support, shared decision-making, clear focus, information sharing, a manageable agenda, a dynamic nature, and ongoing evaluation.
