Collaborative Problem-Solving To Promote the Inclusion of Young Children with Significant Disabilities in Primary Grades.
Salisbury, Christine L.; And Others
Exceptional Children, v63 n2 p195-209 Win 1997
This study examines a collaboratively based problem-solving process in an elementary school in which 29 students with mild to profound disabilities were physically integrated. Teachers and students worked together to solve problems related to inclusion. Teachers judged collaborative problem-solving to be easily incorporated into existing practices and found that it promoted desirable outcomes. (Author/CR)
