Addresses teacher education literature's lack of multicultural perspectives. Proposes a framework for restructuring teacher preparation by developing a reconstructionist perspective, engaging in comprehensive curricular change, providing theoretical and practice knowledge, framing multilayered experiences, and sustaining comprehensive faculty development.
