Two basic issues in considering inclusion practices are preserving the special nature of special education and changing attitudes of regular education teachers. Inclusion can be evaluated using the PASS variables: Prioritize, Adapt, SCREAM (structure, clarity, redundancy, enthusiasm, appropriate rate, maximize, enjoyment), and Systematic evaluation. (SK)
