Will Johnny See Daddy This Week?
Stephens, Linda S.
Journal of Family Issues, v17 n4 p466-94 Jul 1996
Examines the determinants of postdivorce contact between nonresidential fathers and their children after martial disruption and to evaluate the relative merit of three sociological perspectives on postdivorce contact: social parenting, marital-involvement parenting, and socioeconomic-advantaged parenting. Results suggest that fathers have limited contact with their children postdivorce that decreases over time. (Author/FC)
