A Theoretical Model for the Four-Stage Music-Industry Internship Program.
Schenbeck, Lyn
Journal of Experiential Education, v19 n2 p98-107 Aug-Sep 1996
Describes student development through experiential learning in a four-stage internship within a college music-industry curriculum, and uses the Steinaker-Bell experiential taxonomy to show how embedding a multistage internship throughout the curriculum, rather than at the end, greatly enhances learning. Suggests ways in which the multistage undergraduate internship can benefit other curricula. (TD)
