Examines the congruency between interviewers' ratings and respondents' (n=3,586) levels of self-reported self-esteem, depression, and health status. Multiple regression analysis was applied to the data, and the results revealed that interviewers' ratings were fairly congruent with respondents' self-reported self-esteem, depression, and health status. Implications for social work assessment are discussed. (KW)
