Examines ethnic minority parental satisfaction with schools, degree to which they feel informed and involved in their child's education, and teachers' perceptions of them. The interest of ethnic minority parents in the education of their children is underestimated by teachers, and this inaccurate view can affect the information teachers provide to these parents and the involvement they invite them to take in their child's school.
